NC Trip 2009, Day 8: 

1.  Packed the car up, said our goodbyes to the Joneses, and left.

2.  Stopped about 10 minutes after departing to get one final It's a Grind fix.  Wayne (our favorite barrister) was there and gave us a drink on the house. 

3.  Drove, drove, drove. 

4.  Stopped at Holiday Inn outside Lexington for the night. 

5.  A couple memorable quotes came out of the drive: 

"You make my life ironic and I'm not sure that I like it."
-Susan, to me.

"Looking at source code is like peeking at somebody's underwear."
-Susan, to me.

"Susan, I'm a programmer.  I get paid to look at web pages' underwear."
-Me, to Susan.
