Sunday, 7-12-2009

1. Bought a cheap laptop for on-the-go web development!

2. Downloaded updates for said laptop.

3. Talked lovingly to laptop.

4. Cuddled with laptop.

5. Named laptop, Lappy, due to its love of Strong Bad emails.

6. Went to marriage counseling with Susan to discuss her jealousy issues concerning Lappy.

... Well, a few of those things didn't happen, but I did get a laptop.

    It's a Dell Inspiron with 2GB RAM and Dual-core Pentiums running at 2.0 Ghz. No video card to speak of.

    Whoa, I think my laptop has the similar specs. It's a great machine for web development. I thought the lack of a video card would be a real bummer, but if work is your goal, you'll appreciate its absence. Runs Photostrator and Flash like a champ.
